I purchased this desk from Amazon in the parking lot of Ikea because I was frustrated they kept running out of the desk pieces I was going to purchase. I will admit I spent a lot more money than I had originally planned (hence why I was going to buy one from Ikea lol), but I can honestly say it was worth it.When putting the desk together, I had a few bolts that werent screwing in, but there were plenty of extras so I didnt mind. This desk took me about 45 mins to put together by myself the first time, since I had to get all of the pieces out of the box. The desk didnt actually fit through the door to my bedroom so I had to disassemble it and put it back together in my room (always measure doorframes first!). The second time I put this desk together it went a lot faster since I was familiar with the design. I have now since put the desk together 3 times and each time it gets easier and faster.I love this desk! It is the perfect size for the set up I eventually want to have, and I love how I can move my laptop out of the way and do other things on the desk, and not have to move stuff off the desk to be able to do that. I also like the fact that it came with the mouse pad. I used it for a while but I had to put it away since I move my computer around a lot. The material of the desk is amazing too. Its nice feeling, but if you spill something on it it easy to wipe up. I have had my cat step in acrylic paint (long story lol) and then step on the desk before and it left 0 stains I also like how you can slightly adjust the height of the desk and make it level with the feet that come with it. I have placed this desk on carpet and have not noticed and damage to it when removing it.This desk is definitely worth the price. I am so happy I decided to buy this desk instead of the one I wanted to buy from Ikea. I am planning on getting another one to make an L-shaped desk for my office. Highly recommend!
