There are ample compartments/pockets for anything you can think of! I have carried extra shoes and one or two jackets with no problems. I don't cary a laptop but want to say that there's no padding at the bottom. This looks really Great! I have gotten many compliments. The outer fabric has a slightly smooth feel compared to many others that tend to be rough. It also has a lovely sheen. The straps are comfortable. I've returned other backpacks because the straps dug into my arms. My only complaint is that the outer side pockets are Very small! Also the elastic is quite tight. I can barely get a hand inside. If you have to carry a water bottle on the outside then these will be a deal breaker. However there's a good sized pocket on the inside for a bottle. I use the outer pockets for keys in one side and pens and a small pack of facial tissues in the other. I have used this for travel but mainly for daily use in place of a handbag. I would definitely buy it again.This bag is amazing! It has so much space in it. I’m blown away how my large school laptop fits so nicely in the back pocket. I then have the large pocket for all my other stuff. Working for a school/tech department and being a busy mom I always have stuff I need. This bag meets it 110%. It’s cute, tons of pockets to keep stuff organized and LOTS of space. I have not use it yet but it also comes with a cord to plug in your battery safely inside your bag with the adapter on the outside so you can charge your phone. The side pockets fit my water bottle and coffee cup so nicely. I love the black and the gold zippers it looks super classy.This was an amazing purchase! It has a lot of pockets, so it’s really easy to organize everything that you need to have! I love the location for the laptop and that I can put the charging cord in the same pocket as well. Well worth the price!I bought it for school and travel , I returned it and ordered the 15.6 inch instead , because as per research most airline will allow less than 17 inch back pack as personal item bag .To be safe I opt for the smaller version ie: 15.6 “It looks great; lots of pockets .I haven’t use it yet so I can’t say how well it will hold up but I believe it will.The material is great .I seems to be waterproof haven’t test it yet though.I bought a Kenneth Cole Reaction 15.6inch for my daughter and Comparably I say this bag is good and cost less.It fits well over my carryonI love this backpack! I got it for nursing school and it has so much space, it allows me to carry everything I need! The “charger” is lame so don’t buy this bag if that’s your main priority. You have to put a portable charger in there and it’s really just a place to hold the wires. Makes zero sense!My daughter loves the back pack. I purchased it because of the charging port that does not work. If it did, I would give a 5 star. I started to send it back and get a replacement. It they only give you 5 days to rerun it and in that time the new one hasn’t arrived. This is a problem since she needs it for school so it would be nice if I could return the defective one after I receive the new one. Since that was not the case she decided to just keep it and not worry about the charging part.Quite surprised with the good reviews. Personally I was very disappointed with the quality of the bag. Awful fabric and thickness of the zipper is horrendous. Overall, the backpack has a very cheap look
