The desk is nice, just semi difficult to assemble for me. I had to have my nephews help.Took a long time and several utube videos to get it together. Drawer and door not quite right. Very heavy.The desk arrived on time. That was great! It is together and my daughter is using it. Also, great!But the instructions were horrible! One page, with no words. Didn't list all the parts. Didn't say what order to assemble them. Nothing!Blessedly, I have put together a lot of self-assembly furniture so I knew what to do. But if I had not had experience, I would have had to return it or hire someone to put it together.Also, there were no pre-drilled holes for the hinges for the door. There were divets to set the hinges in, but no holes in the door or the desk wall to put the screws into. I tried using duct tape, that didn't work. (See pictures). I just abandoned the door. Still works as storage (see pictures).So, all in all, we got the desk put together because I had experience. If you don't have any experience or know anyone who does. DON'T ORDER THIS.I looked for assembly instructions upon opening the carton. It was a one page piece of crap. Nothing was labeled and the hardware was scrambled into one envelope. Nothing being identified. I am a mechanical engineer with 40 years experience and never ran into anything like this. The one page instructions did not even have all the parts shown, it was complete guess work. If I did not have experience as a draftsman I would send this back but I like challenges and this was a doozy. Luck if you buy it.Page 2 of the assembly directions and beyond are missing from the package. As you can see the page 1 are not very clear, it does not indicate using channel locks in the first few steps at all, I've put enough of these things together to realize this, but it is nowhere on the directions. This is the only page it comes with so if you can get by until half the drawer is completed good luck with the rest. None of the parts (including wood) is labeled or numbered. It takes a while to get a reply, I was offered 12% refund to shut up. Sorry not acceptable. Today they just raised the price. I paid around $45 now its $50+ I just asked to have the complete instruction book/pages emailed to me, I was told it is not available BewareMy grandson loves his own personal place to do his homework and drawings.Even though the desk was inexpensive, it unfortunately was damaged upon arrival.The worse product ever!!!!! So thin!!!! So many peaces and its very unsteady!!!!! I literally trow it out!!!!terrible item!!!!!
